Back in the city for good post Quarantine in Florida. I haven’t been out much because I’m still scared of getting corona but I have ridden the subway (a little contradictory no?). I only have a few photos but I also have a few words.
I’m feeling glad to be back and oddly hopeful. Despite cutting off a few situations that were no longer serving me I feel happy and light. Overall looking forward to what the rest of the year will bring.
Anybody who lives north of the mason Dixon line can tell you that even though it’s cold af out here. It’s only just beginning. Yes, although temperatures are dipping down to the 20’s it’s not even that cold. This is a roundabout way of me saying I hate the cold weather and basically everything that comes along with it.
Which means that I don’t like Christmas. Yes, I’m a grinch and I don’t care who knows it. Despite the fact that my friends, family and now all of you know this this friend dragged me to Dyker Beach? Or Dyker Heights? One of those places to see some Gaudí Christmas decorations and despite the fact that it took 20 minutes for me to feel my hands. I loved every second of it.
Shoutout to my friends for sending me their photos. My iPhone 8 takes photos that look like they were drawn by a turtle.
This is my second time is Paris. The first go round was not so pleasant. The people were iffy, the food was blah and the weather was just nasty.
This time we spend time in the champagne region, touring champagne cellars, hanging with mutual friends and even saw the sun! Here are some photos.
Now that I’m finally over my jetlag.
Here are a couple of shrines outside Hiroshima and Kyoto.
My first time in Asia.
First stop? Tokyo.
- Japan is so clean
- No one jay walks
- Its general quiet outside
- The subway is extensive as hell
- People are sooooo nice. If they see you looking lost they will try and help you
In an attempt to be a video honey:
Word to the wise. If you’re in Colombia and have an extra 2 days it’s worth going to Tayrona National Park in Santa Marta. Go with a tour company and get ready for some of the most beautiful beaches you’ve ever seen and a bumpy ass 2 hour ride.
Word to the thirsty: charge your phones , the thirst traps are A1
