True life: I used to never wear makeup and now I’m obsessed with the Fenty beauty glow stick
My friend Chris is a real laugh. Like he makes me cry on a regular basis. I really wanted a place to showcase all his greatest sayings, so I thought why not here.
One day we’re walking down the
mean smelly streets of New York. I’m probably drunk and Chris is probably trying to save me from getting hit by a cab (as per usual). At this point he’s already mentioned how he used to have “stables” and is “the man of these streets” (I can attest both of these things are true”. Somehow the topic of being dickmatized (look it up) comes up and he says.
When you’re cooking with fire, you know it’s hot
Ladies and gentlemen, this is Chris.
You fight the light with darkness
“Many people, especially ignorant people, want to punish you for speaking the truth, for being correct, for being you. Never apologize for being correct, or for being years ahead of your time. If you’re right and you know, speak your mind. Speak your mind. Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is still the truth.”
I feel like in a relationship, any relationship. No matter if you’re friends for 5 days or 15 years. If one person does something so unforgivable and unerving that the other can’t forgive – then what’s the point? What’s the point of fighting? Why waste your time trying to fight, trying to get back into the life of someone who doesn’t want you there in the first place.
“I’m not angry, I don’t hate you, I’m not having a terrible time, and I don’t think I am better than you or this place. I just haven’t yet decided how to interact with this group of people or how to join this conversation appropriately, so instead of looking like a fool, I will remain quiet and just observe while I figure it out.”
“My resting bitch face means I’m in a good mood and am open to answer any questions.”
“I probably like and appreciate you more than you think I do.”
“We are more than our insensitive, cold stereotypes. Even though we may not reveal the depths and wide range of our emotions, we do have them, and it would do well for others to realize that.”
Drunk texting game STRONG
Please don’t expect me to always be good and kind and loving. There are times when I will be cold and thoughtless and hard to understand.
Sometimes people drift in and out of your life, and the real agony is fighting it
