Self Care December

If you’re anything like me you get SAD aka seasonal affective depression. The moment December hits its like everyday feels like the Sunday scaries so it’s extra important to do extra things for yourself.

  • Getting any sunlight you can (which is almost impossible in New York)
  • Making plans with friends/being social and not isolating yourself even though it’s tempting
  • Doing any and everything to make yourself happy

Here are some shots of my December (ps I normally hate Christmas but am trying extra hard this year to be cheery)

A week in Quarantine – Hamptons Edition

I wonder is it even appropriate to still say quarantine because we’re all definitely not staying at home.

Anyway, I spent the last week in the Hamptons with my friends and it was glorious. We stayed in Amagansett in a 3 bd 2 ba house, complete with pool, wraparound deck and lots and lots of champagne.

Cheers to Summer not being dead.

It’s beginning to look a lot like I need to move to Florida.

Anybody who lives north of the mason Dixon line can tell you that even though it’s cold af out here. It’s only just beginning. Yes, although temperatures are dipping down to the 20’s it’s not even that cold. This is a roundabout way of me saying I hate the cold weather and basically everything that comes along with it.

Which means that I don’t like Christmas. Yes, I’m a grinch and I don’t care who knows it. Despite the fact that my friends, family and now all of you know this this friend dragged me to Dyker Beach? Or Dyker Heights? One of those places to see some Gaudí Christmas decorations and despite the fact that it took 20 minutes for me to feel my hands. I loved every second of it.

Shoutout to my friends for sending me their photos. My iPhone 8 takes photos that look like they were drawn by a turtle.

29 Rooms

Yes, I slacked. But to make up for it here are some gorgeous photos from 29 Rooms by Refinery 29. I’ve been wanting to come here forever but times and tickets are always sold out. Luckily we got a good time slot and were able to take lots of uninterrupted photos of all the exhibits.
