Mish-Mash p5
This is a more building centric Mish-Mash. I’m really trying not to repeat my photos and keep the content fresh and interesting! (said with the upmost sarcasm)
This is the Barcelona Cathedral, I know that sounds made it but it’s actually called the Barcelona Cathedral. We didn’t go inside because it was super crowded, but it’s beautiful on the outside and the details are impressive.
The door and doorway of the Cathedral
This photo really stood out in my mind because although it was February it was a beautiful 60 degree day and the sun was shining directly on the Cathedral. Granted this is not the best lighting for photos but it was very symbolic. Here is this ancient Cathedral in the middle of the city on the first nice day of the year and the sun is shining directly on it.
Speaking of Barcelona, here is yet another one of my favorite photos. It’s just of a normal, everyday Barcelona street and it’s beautiful. When I think of Europe this is definitely an image that pops into my mind. Clothes hanging on the balcony, a huddle of apartments that don’t all look the same, blue skies and beautiful people. I’m pretty sure the last time I was here I stumbled upon this very street and alas, fate bought me back around.
This was a random apartment building in Talavera where I lived but I was obsessed with it. It was in the center of the city and really stood out to me among all the other buildings. The center is classic Talavera tile, blue with yellows and greens and around it is an almost mirror-like glass that reflected the surroundings of the buildings. It didn’t look like any other building I had seen. A nice mixture of old and new that you don’t really get that often.
If you can believe this, this the the natural history museum in Barcelona.
I mean what can you really say about this? that light, that angle, those colors? It’s a beauty.
Thank you Barcelona for continuing to be one of my favorite cities.
